Criminal Record Check

Who needs to get a Criminal Record Check?

All GOV attendees (delegates, chaperones, volunteers, exhibitors, facilitators, speakers, staff, and anyone on location during GOV) 18 years and older are required to have a current, clear CRC – Vulnerable Sector Check on file with the BCAAFC prior to arrival at GOV in Richmond. If you have a CRC done through your local police, or RCMP detachment please scan or copy and submit to the BCAAFC at gatheringourvoices@bcaafc.com

*Those without a CRC on file will not be welcomed into the facilities.*

This measure is in place to ensure a safe, secure, fun experience for all our youth that attend. Any space that hosts youth and young people should be safe, supportive, and stable. Safety, both physically and emotionally, sets the foundation for youth (and all people) to thrive.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Lead Coordinator, Marleah at govcoordinator@bcaafc.com for more information.
